Nel maggio del 1943 l’armata di liberazione jugoslava guidata da Tito deve affrontare la quinta offensiva delle truppe tedesche. La lotta si rivela senza tregua per riuscire ad aprirsi un varco nella cerchia di ferro e di fuoco del nemico.
